A Comprehensive Guide to Nouns and Their Classification A noun is a word that refers to a person, place, thing, idea, or concept. Parts of Speech কাকে বলে | কত প্রকার ও কী কী?  Parts of speech গ্রামারের খুবই গুরুত্বপূর্ণ একটি বিষয়। প্রশ্ন হতে পারে, "কেন এত গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ?" কারণ Parts of speech গ্রামার শেখার প্রথম ধাপ । Parts of speech শিখতে পারলে ইংরেজি গ্রামারের প্রায় ৫০% শেখা হয়ে যায়। তাই Parts of speech সম্পর্কে ভালো ধারণা রাখতে হবে। আর Parts of speech বুঝতে পারার অর্থ word এর nature বা প্রকৃতি সম্পর্কে জ্ঞান।  Parts of Speech কাকে বলে? Part- অর্থ ‘অংশ’ আর Speech- এর অর্থ হলো’ বাক্য’। সুতরাং বলা যায়, Parts of Speech- এর  অর্থ ’পদ’ বা ’বাক্যাংশ’। অতএব, Sentence- এ ব্যবহৃত প্রত্যেকটি Word কে এক একটি Part of Speech বলে । 'water' শুধু মাএ একটি word কোন parts of speech নয়। কারণ water কোন sentence এ ব্যবহার করা হয়নি। কিন্তু ' I water the Plant. ' বাক্যে 'water' parts of speech এবং verb।  আবার একই word ভিন্ন ভিন্ন 'sentence' এ ব্যবহারের কারণে ভিন্ন ভিন্ন parts of speech এর মতো আচরণ করতে পারে।  যেমনঃ I water the Plant.  I sweem in the water. He goes to school regularly.  আর এজন্যই ইংরেজিতে মনের ভাব প্রকাশ করতে  চাইলে  আমাদেরকে sentence গঠনে দক্ষ হতে হবে।  এজন্য প্রতি দিন ইংরেজিতে কিছু না কিছু লিখতে হবে। হয়তো প্রথম প্রথম ভুল একটু বেশি হবে কিন্তু ধিরে ধিরে ভুলের পরিমাণ কমতে থাকবে। ইংরেজি শেখা কিভাবে শুরু করব আমাদেরকে যেহেতু sentence গঠনে দক্ষ হতে হবে এবং প্রতি দিন কিছু না কিছু লিখতে হবে। সেজন্য আমাদের সবার প্রথম জানতে হবে sentence কী দিয়ে তৈরি। sentence তৈরি হয় word এর সুশৃঙ্খল বিন্যাস দিয়ে তাই ইংরেজি শেখার প্রথম ধাপ হল word জানা। ইংরেজিতে কিছু লিখতে, বলতে অথবা
